Things That Don't Exist

People can be defined by the data they generate and consume throughout life. Data such as name, address, pictures, social media, and everything else we use represent us as individuals in our digital age..

With various forms of AI technology, there are ways to generate almost any kind of believable data that (most likely) won’t be tracked to me. So I have compiled the list below of data-generating projects that produce data that “does not exist.” Some are useful, some are funny, and some are just creepy.

People

This Person Does Not Exist – Portrait generator, the original site that started it all. Created using a style based generative adversarial network.

Bored Humans – AI trained to create fake people using a database of 70,000 photos of real humans

Photo Anonymization – Upload a photo of yourself and AI will slightly modify the image. This is extremely useful for defending against reverse image searches.

Synthesia – Create free spoken person video from text with several personalities to choose from
